Disconnect power to the electrical busbar. This is important for safety reasons, as working on live electrical equipment can be dangerous

Temperature Sensor Installation

  1. Disconnect power to the electrical busbar before beginning installation.

  2. Locate a joint on the busbar where you want to install the sensor. It is generally recommended to install the sensor near a joint, as this is the location that causes fire/temperature rise.

  3. Attach the sensor to the busbar using the provided strap. Make sure that the sensor is securely fastened and will not come loose during use.

  4. Make sure that the bottom metal plate of the sensor is in tight contact with the busbar. A loose contact can result in inaccurate temperature readings.

  5. Record the serial number and location of the sensor in an installation document. This will allow you to easily identify the sensor and its location on the final dashboard.

  6. Repeat the installation process for any additional sensors that are needed.

Bluetooth to LoRaWAN converter Installation

  1. Install the converter near the busbar sensors that you want to monitor. This will ensure that the converter is in range to receive temperature data from the sensors via Bluetooth.

  2. Connect the converter to a 230V AC power source.

  3. Record the MAC ID of the converter and the serial numbers of the 10 sensors that it will be connected to. This information will be used in the cloud to map the relationship between the converter and the sensors.

  4. Follow any additional instructions provided by the manufacturer to complete the installation process.
